Ananta Jalil sends legal notice to “Din – The Day” director
Ananta Jalil has sent a legal notice to Iranian director Morteza Atashzamzam, who helmed the project "Din: The Day" with him. The news comes after the director had already threatened to sue him for allegedly misrepresenting the budget of the movie and claiming that it was BDT 100 crore.
Now, Ananta has decided to sue the director for attempting to 'defame' him.
On Saturday, Ananta Jalil sent a message, confirming the matter to The Daily Star. "Iranian director Murtaza will have to answer to the International Court of Justice for this lie, and the Bangladeshi miscreants involved in it will not be forgiven at all," he said. "There is deep conspiracy regarding my film".
He also said, "The miscreants, the anti-Bangladesh people have left no stone unturned in trying to conspire against me and the country," said Jalil. "The allegations that they brought against me are all false and made up. They could not provide any proof when I had directly asked them for it, and now, they have to answer for it."
The actor said that he had sent a notice on September 4.
"He is spreading false information to defame me, by joining hands with anti-national miscreants. I will soon file a case against him in the International Court of Justice. We will also take legal action against those who are with him. I have always respected our local and international law," he said.
