Ananta Jalil’s ‘Din: The Day’ greenlit for Eid release
The censor board has finally given "Din: The Day" the green light to go ahead for production. The movie, which is directed by Iranian director Murtaza Otash Jamjam and stars Ananta Jalil alongside his wife, Afiea Nusrat Barsha, will be coming to the big screen during Eid-ul-Azha.
"We received the certificate from the censor board on Sunday," said Jalil in a press conference. "Members of the censor board also praised the movie. Fans have been waiting for this movie for quite some time, and now their wait will finally come to an end. The film will be released during Eid-ul-Azha."
Earlier in the press conference, Ananta had mentioned that the budget for the movie was around BDT 100 crore. The movie was shot in multiple countries, in locations such as Bangladesh, Turkey, Afghanistan and Iran.
