Farhan Akhtar's upcoming road trip drama, "Jee Le Zaraa", has encountered more casting setbacks, as reports suggest that Anushka Sharma has turned down the opportunity to replace Priyanka Chopra in the film.

Earlier, it was Priyanka Chopra who opted out of the project to focus on her Hollywood career, followed by false rumors of Katrina Kaif's exit. However, it seems Anushka Sharma's schedule conflicts prevented her from taking on the role. While Anushka Sharma was reportedly excited about the female-centric film, she had prior commitments that clashed with the shooting dates.

In light of these casting issues, Farhan Akhtar, the actor and director of the film, has decided to put "Jee Le Zaraa" on hold for now. He will instead focus on his acting commitment alongside Aamir Khan in the remake of a Spanish sports comedy. Following that, Farhan Akhtar will shift his attention to his next directorial venture, "Don 3", featuring Ranveer Singh in the lead role.

Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma is currently occupied with her highly anticipated biopic, "Chakda Xpress". Directed by Prosit Roy, the film depicts the life of Indian female cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The movie also stars Renuka Shahane, Anshul Chauhan, Koushik Sen, and Mahesh Thakur in pivotal roles.
