Arijit Singh will sing for Salman's 'Tiger 3', ending a 7-year feud
In 2014, a feud emerged between Salman Khan and singer Arijit Singh during an award ceremony, leading to Arijit being removed from several of Salman's projects. However, after seven years, they have reconciled, and Arijit Singh has lent his voice for a song in Salman Khan's upcoming film, Tiger 3. This reconciliation comes after their well-known disagreement at the 2014 award show.
Salman Khan recently shared a teaser on Instagram for the first song of Tiger 3, titled "Leke Prabhu Ka Naam." The image features Salman and Katrina Kaif dressed up for what appears to be a dance number, similar to the end-credit songs in the previous Tiger movies, "Mashallah" in Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and "Swag Se Swagat" in Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). Salman wrote in the caption that this is Arijit Singh's first song for him, and the song is set to release on October 23.
The first song from Tiger 3 will be unveiled a week after the trailer, on October 23. It is composed by Pritam, written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, and choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant. Fans eagerly expressed their excitement for this long-awaited collaboration in the comments.
The fallout between Salman and Arijit began in 2014 when Arijit received an award at a popular show wearing slippers, and Salman made fun of him, asking if he was the winner. Arijit responded by saying that he had been put to sleep. Subsequently, Arijit was removed from several of Salman's projects like Kick, Bajarangi Bhaijaan, and Sultan. Arijit even wrote an online apology to Salman, which he later retracted.
Tiger 3 is scheduled to be released in cinemas on November 12, coinciding with Diwali.
