Aruna Biswas joins cast of drama series 'Joba'
Noted actress Aruna Biswas has joined the cast of popular drama series, "Joba", directed by Ashish Roy. There were hints of the actress joining the series in a candid photo posted few days back, taken of the actress on a shooting set.
Since its debut at the beginning of this year, "Joba" has been a consistent favorite, gaining momentum and dedicated fans over the past 8 months. Now, with Aruna Biswas on board, the excitement is about to reach new heights as the drama approaches its monumental 200th episode.
Set in the backdrop of a village, the storyline follows the adventurous and bold Joba, whose life takes a turn when she marries Mithu from old Dhaka. Despite Mithu's calm demeanor, his mother Bilkis Begum is quite the opposite – fiery and strong-willed.
Bilkis's strong hold over the Talukdar household becomes evident, and when Joba, known for her spirited and rebellious nature, enters the scene and conflicts begin to brew. Forced to marry Joba against his mother's wishes, Mithu finds himself amidst a storm of clashing personalities and emotions.
The drama also stars Dolly Zahur, Rezmin Setu, Sohan Khan, Shanarei Debi Shanu, and Ainun Putul, among others.
"Joba" is airing every day at 7 pm on Deepto TV. Apart from that, the episodes are also available on Deepto Play and YouTube channel of Deepto Television.
