Assault on Saif Ali Khan: Kareena and kids temporarily move in with Karisma Kapoor
Concerns have been raised about the security measures of the Mumbai administration, from Bollywood celebrities to their fans, following consecutive attacks on the bungalows of Bollywood stars in the Bandra area. Last year, Salman Khan's Galaxy apartment came under fire from the Hindutva extremist group, the Bishnoi Gang.
Saif Ali Khan was recently assaulted with a knife by an unidentified individual while visiting the Satguru Sharan bungalow in Bandra. This incident has sparked widespread concern and raised the question: is Bandra truly unsafe?
Several celebrities, including Raveena Tandon, Imtiaz Ali, and Karishma Tanna, have spoken out about the situation. Meanwhile, the incident has cast a shadow of fear over Bollywood. As a precautionary move, Kareena Kapoor is currently staying at her sister Karisma Kapoor's home with her two children.
Kareena Kapoor arrived at the hospital on Thursday ahead of Saif Ali Khan's surgery. During this time, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim also visited their father. Saif's sister, Soha Ali Khan, and brother-in-law, Kunal Khemu, were also spotted at the hospital. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt visited the hospital earlier this morning to check up on Saif.
On Wednesday night one or more unidentified assailants broke into Saif Ali Khan's home, stabbing him multiple times. When the actor reportedly attempted to defend himself, he faced further charges.
Saif Ali Khan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai for treatment. According to doctors, a knife wound came dangerously close to his spine. He is currently being monitored in the ICU.
