British-Bangladeshi comedian Eshan Akbar recently made the announcement on social media that he will soon be featured on the latest season of the hit Netflix series, "Sex Education", which will be released later this year. Eshaan is a Bangladeshi-Pakistani Briton, who began doing stand-up back in 2014.

 

Eshaan has appeared on shows like "Mock the Week", "Frankie Boyle's New World Order", "The Big Asian Stand Up Night", and "Good Morning Britain"; being the first person of Bangladeshi descent to do so. Regarding his role in the hit Netflix series, there have been no further updates.

The British dramedy "Sex Education" follows the life of the socially awkward Otis (Asa Butterfield),a high school student whose mother Jean (Gillian Anderson) is a sex therapist. Along with his classmate Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey), Otis establishes a sex clinic at their school to offer love and sex advice to their peers. As the seasons progress, Otis and Maeve begin to develop romantic feelings for each other, with their will-they, won't-they dynamic becoming one of the show's central plotlines.
