Actress Barsha recently hinted that she will no longer be acting on screen. Meanwhile, the "Nishwartha Bhalobasa" actress has several films lined up for release, including "Netri: The Leader".

At a recent press conference, Barsha appeared in a casual and laid-back mood, accompanied by her husband, actor and producer Ananta Jalil.

During the event, Barsha stated, "I currently have three to four films in hand, and completing them will take quite some time. After that, I do not wish to take on any new films. At a certain point, continuing to act in films no longer seems appropriate."

Describing herself as a 'realist', she further explained, "An actress has her prime for a certain period; one needs to look good on screen as well. I believe that time has passed for me. Moreover, my children are growing up fast, which is why I am saying this. I am very realistic and simply stating the truth."

At this point, Ananta Jalil interrupted, "I believe Barsha is the same age as the prominent actresses currently working in the industry—perhaps even younger than some of them. Yet, she insists that an actress must look a certain way on screen! Meanwhile, there are many who, despite being older, claim to be much younger!"

Cutting in, Barsha added, "The truth is, my priority is my family and children. My elder son is now 10 years old, and the younger one is seven. In just a few years, my oldest will be 14 or 15. At that stage, I would not feel comfortable knowing that their mother is still working in the media."

"However, I have no concerns regarding my husband. I have always said that I could let him roam around a market full of women, and I would sleep peacefully, knowing that he would return home without even glancing at anyone else."

During the press conference, Ananta Jalil and Barsha discussed various topics, including their films and other matters.
