BDT 100 crore budget for ‘Din: The Day’, 60 lakhs each for ‘Poran’ and ‘Psycho’

This Eid-ul-Adha, three new movies are set to be released. Among these, "Din: The Day" and "Poran" have already received clearance from the censor board while the third movie, "Psycho", is likely to get it by today.

"Din: The Day" has a budget of BDT 100 crore, while "Poran" and "Psycho" each had a budget of BDT 60 lakh.

Ananta Jalil's "Din: The Day" is a joint production of Bangladesh and Iran. The film is directed by Iranian film director Morteza Atashzamzam. The film will be released in more than 150 theatres across the country.

Anonno Mamun's "Psycho" stars Puja Chery and Ziaul Roshan, and is slated to be released in 60 halls all over the country this Eid.

"This movie is sure to entertain audiences as it has both action, peppy song tracks and amazing dance routines. Audiences will truly love it," said Anonno Mamun.

Anonno Mamun has released two songs from "Psycho", which include "Tor Jonno Koto Maya Re" and "Ami Psycho". Both Roshan and Puja Chery are promoting the movie in full swing through social media. The trailer of the movie is set to be released soon.

The promotions for all three movies are going strong, as their posters have been released. Ananta Jalil is currently promoting his film "Din: The Day" in several places including Dhaka University and Jahangirnagar University.

Raihan Rafi's "Poran" centres around a complicated love triangle. Two of its songs, "Cholo Niralai" and "Jolere Poran", have been released so far. The screenplay for the movie is written by Shahjahan Shourov and Raihan Rafi. The official trailer of "Poran" will release tomorrow.
