Bobby Deol's appearance in the "Animal" teaser caught significant attention from the audience. The actor added an extra layer of mystery around his character as the trailer didn't reveal much.

Speaking at the Jagran Film Festival, Bobby talked about his role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film. He also teased his fans that he was definitely 'eating something' in the teaser, which added fuel to the rumour that he might be playing a cannibal character in the movie.

Bobby discussed his experience working on "Animal" at the film festival. "I was extremely fortunate to be a part of 'Animal'; I have always admired Sandeep's work. He is the only director to have made the same picture twice and been successful both times. I want to play diverse characters, and as I have stated, I want to stretch myself and be really uncomfortable as an actor."

Bobby also discussed the viral shot from the film's teaser, saying, "When I did that shot, I didn't even see the monitor. We were rushing to shoot that scene. I saw the sequence for the first time in the teaser and thought, 'What? 'This is who I am!' I am overjoyed with the response I received for this particular scene. It only shows that the audience wishes to see me in a new role. They want to know what I'm doing in that shot--I can't tell you--but I'm definitely eating something," revealed the actor.

A Reddit user shared the interview clip and raised the question whether the actor is portraying a cannibal in the film. "Vanga got no chill and literally cooked someone," a Reddit member commented. "Bobby will eat up all the actors in this film, quite literally," one person added.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, "Animal" features a star-studded cast, including Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, amongst others.

"Animal" is slated to hit the theatres worldwide on December 1. Moreover, the film will be available in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannanda and Malayalam.
