Eamin Haque Bobby is gearing up for a return soon. She was last seen in "Paap", where her role as an ACP officer was embraced well, despite the outcome of the film. As a producer, she has an assortment of genres under her belt, including the superhero film "Bizli".

Do you see yourself as an actress or a star?

I think I am both because my audience has made me feel this way. However, personally, I am still trying to become an actress.

You are playing the role of an actress in "Moyurakkhi". How was the experience?

It was an interesting experience, to say the least. I had to do my homework regarding the role beforehand. Just because I am an actress, it does not automatically equate to me playing it accurately. I, however, did feel like I could relate to the role's obstacles. The hurdles or politics in the game remain the same, as open secrets – especially for us actresses.

Speaking of politics in cinema, what are your thoughts on it?

Politics in our game is an aspect that I do not want anything to do with but if I find myself in the midst of it then I try to drift away. It is something that I intentionally do for my peace of mind. I obviously and unfortunately was a victim of such politics.

Many young aspiring actresses refuse to enter the industry because they fear these politics, what would you say to them?

I think in our time, we were far less aware than the women today are. They are street-smart so it can be easier for them to enter actually. However, there are those who think of themselves as big stars, after entering the industry. They make me wonder a lot because I still think that I am yet to do a lot more to get into a substantial position. I fear being forgotten by the audience, and I think it is a good form of fear to have.

'Bizli' was the last film you produced, why haven't you produced anything else since then?

I could provide a lot of time to "Bizli", but eventually the pandemic hit all of us, and I somehow became busy with the pile of other productions. My father had passed away as well. I do plan on returning as a producer in due course.

You worked on OTT recently, what was your experience like?

Yes, I worked on Chayanika Chowdhury's "Suravi", which was written by Imdadul Haque Milon. It was a very pleasant experience and it was a women-centric project as well. Meaning all the primary characters were women. It was also my first time working with Suborna ma'am which again was great. We all loved being a part of the story. Then again, I was told that I was chosen because the character was based on me but I hope to not get hired only when a character is based upon me. I want to do more.

You mentioned that you want to do a lot more. Where would you love to see yourself?

I don't have anything precise in mind. Whichever project I do, I just leave thinking that I could have done a better job. I just don't know how to feel content.
