Vishal Bhardwaj is back in the director's chair with a new murder-mystery, based on Agatha Christie's classic novel "The Sittaford Mystery". The pilot episode is currently streaming on OTT.

The series will follow Charlie Chopra's journey, as she attempts to unravel a complex mystery in the snow-covered Himachal Pradesh highlands.

The motion poster was shared by Sony Liv with the caption, "Witness the unraveling of a chilling mystery. #CharlieChopra, directed by National Award Honoree Vishal Bhardwaj, in collaboration with Tusk Tale Films and Agatha Christie Limited, is now available. Sony LIV is now broadcasting an exclusive peek of the pilot episode. Don't pass up the chance to co-create the title for this new Sony LIV original."

Bhardwaj's own company, Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures, is directing the Sony LIV original, tentatively titled "Charlie Chopra & The Mystery of Solang Valley", in partnership with Priti Shahani's Tusk Tale Films and Agatha Christie Limited.

Vishal Bhardwaj previously stated to Bollywood Hungama, "I grew up devouring all of Agatha Christie's mysterious tales. Her storylines, characters, and location are unrivaled in the genre and continue to captivate authors today. It has been a fantastic journey working with James Prichard, Agatha Christie's great grandson, who has always offered fresh perspectives to our team. Sony LIV and Priti Shahani have been fantastic partners in helping me adapt this exciting and fascinating environment."

The series also stars an ensemble of talented actors including Wamiqa Gabbi, Priyanshu Painyuli, Naseeruddin Shah, Neena Gupta, Ratna Pathak Shah, Gulshan Grover, Lara Dutta, Chandan Roy Sanyal, and Paoli Dam, among others.

The show will be available on the Sony LIV OTT platform. An official release date for the remaining episodes are yet to be announced.
