The "Captain America" star doesn't feel like returning to the set anytime soon. The actor might have hinted at retirement from acting.

In an interview with GQ magazine, Chris Evans revealed that he has not filmed for any movie in 2023 and does not intend to return anytime soon.

When asked if he would return for another Marvel film, Chris replied he would love to, but he would 'just maybe act a little bit less' in the future.

Chris elaborated, "Yeah, maybe. I'll never say never because it was such an amazing experience. But I'm also incredibly protective of it. It's something I'm quite proud of. And, as I already stated, there are times when I can't believe it happened at all."

The actor also said he wants to act less to explore his other hobbies.

"I don't have any peak growth in my career or any Oscars. I am also not associated with other names who are at the top of the mountain. However, I am still satisfied with it," added the actor.

In the same interview, Chris discussed his relationship with Alba Bapista and said he has not visited a film set this year. "I haven't worked all year and don't intend to, which has been wonderful."

"Yeah, I do one movie a year. I try not to work anymore. And then, after a few months of dating, guess what happened? We'll be in Atlanta for a year. Prepare yourself. And even during that year, I was thinking, I really don't want to return to acting," concluded the actor.

Chris Evans married Alba Bapista in a private ceremony earlier this month. Amongst those in attendance were his Marvel co-stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner. He was most recently seen in Netflix's "Pain Hustlers".
