Chris Hemsworth returns with more action in ‘Extraction 2’

Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth, unveiled the official trailer for his upcoming action thriller,“Extraction 2” directed by Sam Hargrave, yesterday.

 

Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth, unveiled the official trailer for his upcoming action thriller,"Extraction 2" directed by Sam Hargrave, yesterday. He shared the teaser on Instagram, and wrote, "You only get one shot at a second chance. EXTRACTION 2 premieres globally on Netflix on June 16th."

In the teaser, the "Avengers" actor shared a glimpse of a single-take-action sequence in which he could be seen fighting with the goons. 

The first film starred Hemsworth as Tyler Rake, a black market mercenary charged with rescuing the kidnapped son of an imprisoned, dangerous criminal lord.

The film did well for Netflix, becoming one of the streaming service's biggest movies of all time at the time. As the film is partially set in the background of Bangladesh, it got immense popularity here as well. The filming of the sequel began in 2021, with a short teaser released that same year.

Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda was also a part of the first part of the film. 

Previously, Chris Hemsworth revealed to Vanity Fair that he may be at a higher risk of Alzheimer's illness. Hemsworth stated that because his grandfather has Alzheimer's, the diagnosis came as no surprise to him.
