Cine Caravan Film Festival 2025 commences nationwide

The Drama and Film Department of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) in collaboration with the Rainbow Film Society has officially commenced the Cine Caravan Film Festival 2025. They will showcase 12 films from nine countries across various districts in Bangladesh.

From February 20 to 28, the festival will run in Narayanganj, Jamalpur, Gopalganj, Chapainawabganj, Joypurhat, Khulna, Jashore, Dinajpur, Patuakhali, Jhalokathi, Barguna, and Sylhet. Films will be screened daily from 3pm to 7:30pm at the district Shilpakala Academy auditoriums.

On the festival's opening day, Saudi Arabia's "Il Signore" (2024) was showcased, followed by Iraq's "Nobody Knows" and Kyrgyzstan's "Deal at the Border".
Yesterday's screenings began with Egypt's "Departure" at 3pm, followed by Turkey's "When the Walnut Leaves Turn Yellow", and then Syria's "Warning". The day concluded with Afghanistan's "The Most Beautiful Kabuli Dress" and Turkey's "Beyond the Wages".

Today's schedule includes Tunisia's "A Mediterranean Day" at 3pm, followed by Iran's "Baran" and "Maybe Somewhere Else". The day will end with Iraq's "The Last Postman".
From February 26 to 28, the films will be screened at the Barishal and Rajshahi District Shilpakala Academy auditoriums, running from 3pm to 7:30pm each day. All film screenings are open to everyone.
