Deepto TV awards artistes in 19 segments

Celebrating their seventh anniversary, Deepto Tv organized "Deepto Award Ceremony 2022" yesterday at Deepto TV Bhabhan, Farmgate. Honouring television actors, and artistes, Deepto TV presented 19 awards in three categories, namely Single Drama, Serial Drama, and Dubbed Serial Dramas.

Agriculture Minister of Bangladesh Dr Abdur Razzak, State Minister of Cultural Affairs K M Khalid, eminent actor Abul Hayat, renowned actor and director Salauddin Lavlu appeared on the event.

Many renowned faces on television, including Apurba, Jovan, Tasnia Farin, Bidya Sinha Mim, and Sabila Nur, amongst many others, also attended the event.

The event was inaugurated with a speech from the MD of Deepto TV, Kazi Jahedul Islam.

"Starting my journey at the tender age of ten, I acted in school dramas to theatre and television," said Abul Hayat who received the "Lifetime Achievement Award" at the ceremony. "Of course, this long journey over the last six decades would not be possible without the support of my parent, and of course inspiration the late 'Jatra Shamrat' Amalendu Biswas."

"The media as well as the journalists who wrote about me contributed greatly to get me this far," adds the Lifetime Awardee.
