Dev interrogated for 5 hours over alleged cow smuggling
Tollywood superstar and Trinamool MP from West Bengal, Dev Adhikari, popularly known as Dev, was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a cow smuggling case. The actor was held for five hours during the interrogation.
According to the India media ABP Ananda, Dev was called by the ED on Tuesday for interrogations, after his name was mentioned in the testimonies by a few witnesses. He was reportedly questioned in connection with the financial transaction in the cow smuggling racket. The ED took his testimony in this regard.
According to reports, Dev was previously summoned by the CBI, for the same case. Enamul Haque, the main accused of the case had informed the CBI, that the actor took money, and expensive gifts from him around 2017-18.
