Dhanush pays homage to South Indian roots at “The Gray Man” premiere
South Indian actor Dhanush, who recently made his Hollywood debut with "The Gray Man", was seen flaunting a traditional South Indian attire at the film special Mumbai premiere. He looked ravishing in a white shirt, which he paired with white dhoti and a pair of black slippers.
Film's director duo, Anthony Russo and Joseph Russo, collectively known as the Russo brothers, were also seen pulling off glamour on the red carpet of the premiere. However, Dhanush stole the show with his traditional attire, and his humble gesture as he welcomed the paparazzi saying, "Wanakkam" (hello).
Many other Bollywood stars, including Vicky Kaushal and Randeep Hooda, were also present at the premiere.
Fans soon started praising the "Maari" star for choosing to stick to his culture even while promoting his foreign language film.
Dhanush plays the villain in "The Gray Man". The Netflix original action-thriller, which also stars Ryan Gosling, Cameron Crovetti, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, among many others, was released last week. The film is available for streaming on Netflix.
