Did Nisho throw an indirect dig at Shakib Khan?
While Shakib Khan and Nisho's fans are fighting over who is ruling in theaters; both the actors have refrained from calling out each other in public.
However, it seems that Afran Nisho might have thrown an indirect dig at Shakib Khan during a press meet, yesterday. The "Shurongo" team met with journalists to discuss movie piracy at Star Cineplex, Mohakhali.
When asked whether he felt pressured about competing with such tough competitors in theaters. The actor stated that he didn't feel anything like that.
"The only time I felt pressure was during the shooting of the film. I am over 40 and I have been working for a long time. What other pressure will I feel right now," stated the actor.
When a journalist teasingly asked him about how he revealed his age. Nisho gave a suggestive comment which implied an indirect dig at another popular actor.
"I don't have any problem revealing my age. I am not like that 'so-called' hero who would never publicly acknowledge his marriage or child in front of the public," said Nisho.
However, Nisho quickly handled the comment by stating that these were the conventional notion against actors back then.
"Many people held the misconception that heroes do not engage with the public and seek to remain exclusive. However, for those of us who have worked on television, our viewers inspire us. Interacting and communicating with fans demonstrates courtesy and authenticity," added the actor.
The "Shurongo" team is upset that important parts from their film are being shared online on social media. They have also suggested that this is a conspiracy against their film.
"If a clip of a movie goes viral, then everyone should speak out against it out of a sense of responsibility. But where is that sense of responsibility? When a scene is leaked from a movie, those concerned are more distressed. But everyone should protest from a place of responsibility. When a thief commits a crime, he thinks he will never be caught. Anyone who is doing these things, knowingly or unknowingly. We will find you out and you will have to face your consequences soon," concluded the actor.
Afran Nisho's silver screen debut has been mesmerising the audience, which is running successfully in 28 halls across the country. The film is having 33 shows in STAR Cineplex which is a record for the multiplex.
