Duronto TV to begin new season with an exciting lineup

After completing 30 successful seasons, Duronto TV is set to launch its 31st season of programming from April 27. This season will feature exciting new shows, including three brand new cartoon series—"Coconut: The Little Dragon", "Grisu", and "Q Pootle 5", as well as a fresh new season of the channel's original family drama "Radhibari Khaidai – Season 2". 

Regular shows, cartoon series, and films will continue to be aired as usual.

'Coconut: The Little Dragon'

Set on a beautiful island, this series follows the adventures of two little dragons, Coconut and Oscar, along with their porcupine friend Matilda. The trio spends their days having fun, getting into mischief, and solving problems that arise on their island. "Coconut: The Little Dragon" captures the exciting daily escapades of these three friends.

The voices of Coconut, Oscar, and Matilda have been dubbed into Bangla by Mehedi Hasan, Karolina Maitree Sarker Sairus, and Kashkia Nahrin Sinthy, respectively. Sazzad Rajib and Md  Sharif Hasan Chowdhury Saud have directed the Bangla dubbing of the show, which will air every day at 8am and 6pm from April 27.

'Grisu'

Grisu is a sweet little dragon who dreams of becoming a firefighter. But how can a dragon, who is naturally a source of fire, become a firefighter? Despite efforts by his father and friends to dissuade him, Grisu refuses to give up on his dream. He rushes to the scene at the first sign of danger. The series is filled with humorous stories of Grisu's brave and determined efforts to pursue his dream.

The Bangla voices of Grisu, Fume, and Stella have been provided by Badhan Sarker, Sazzadul Islam Saju, and Hafiza Akhtar Jhuma. The dubbing has been directed by Sheuti Shahgufta and Shahriar Rana.

The cartoon "Grisu" will air daily at 9am and 7pm.

'Q Pootle 5'

Meet five friends—Pootle, Oopsy, Stella, Eddi, and Groobie—who live on the planet Okidoki. Each has their own spaceship, and they love travelling around to different places. Groobie runs a workshop, while Stella enjoys gardening with the help of her pet bird, Ray. Pootle is always there to lend a helping hand to his friends. "Q Pootle 5" is all about the light-hearted daily adventures of these five space buddies.

The Bangla voice cast includes Samiul Alam Jibon as Q Pootle 5, Ria Chowdhury as Oopsy, and Tamanna Sarwar as Stella. The dubbing has been directed by Mahbub Alam and Raizul Islam Asad.

The series will air every day at 1pm and 8:30pm.

'Radhibari Khaidai' – Season 2

Sukonna and Shuddho are a cheerful brother-sister duo living with their parents, grandmother, and housemaid Bijli Khala. Together, they cook, play games and quizzes, and enjoy their time as a loving family. Their father, a musician, creates fun songs based on different foods, which they all sing together. Their mother, a nutritionist, explains the health benefits of the food in an engaging way. The series provides useful information about cooking and nutrition through the family's delightful daily life.

The lead child roles are played by Sukonna and Aranyo Shuddho, while other roles are portrayed by Nadia Haque, Ramiz Razu, Sabiha Zaman, and Shammi Setu.

The drama is directed by Farida Lima and will be aired on Duronto TV every Friday and Saturday at 9:30am, 2:30pm, and 9pm from May 2.

The new season will also feature popular programmes such as the dance show "Nacher Ishkul", storytelling show "Golpo Sheshe Ghumer Deshe", martial arts show "Mojaar Kaando Taekwondo", children's health programme "Duronto Swastho Duronto Mon", "Duronto Shomoy", "The English Club", "Balu Chhobir Golpo", "Golok Dhadha", crafting show "The Art Room", dramas "B-te Bondhu" and "GudduBura", and cartoon series "Clue and Cooking", "Heidi", "Maya the Bee", "The Smurfs", and more.
