Faisal Khan backs out of Shakib Khan's film
Anonno Mamun's plan to make a pan-Indian film featuring Shakib Khan has faced a setback as Bollywood actor Faisal Khan, who was initially set to star alongside Shakib, has decided not to be a part of the project. Mamun had previously shared his excitement about bringing the two talented actors from different industries together.
However, Faisal Khan revealed today through a video message, on his birthday, that he will not be part of Anonno Mamun's film. Instead, Faisal Khan confirmed that he has signed a contract for another exciting project titled "Swing," which will be directed by Ali Zulfikar Zahedi.
"Swing" will be produced in both Bengali and Hindi, and Faisal expressed his enthusiasm about starting work on the film soon.
Regarding his decision not to be a part of Mamun's project, Faisal Khan expressed his disappointment in how the film's publicity began before any official agreement or contract was signed. He clarified that while discussions about the movie were indeed held, he was uncomfortable with the premature publicity surrounding it. This led him to withdraw from the project.
Anonno Mamun, the director of the proposed film, responded to Faisal Khan's statement, stating that they had sent the movie proposal to him and announced his involvement only after receiving an agreement in response. However, as Faisal Khan decided not to proceed with the project, Mamun refrained from further commenting on the matter.
