Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan, known for their successful collaborations, are reportedly set to work together again. According to an exclusive report by Pinkvilla, Farah is currently developing a script for "Main Hoon Na 2".
Their first collaboration, the 2004 action-entertainer "Main Hoon Na", was a major box office success, establishing them as a formidable duo in Bollywood. Since then, each of their joint projects has been commercially successful.
According to sources, plans are underway to produce "Main Hoon Na 2" under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. Notably, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's production house, Red Chillies, debuted with "Main Hoon Na".
Farah has already drafted an initial plan for the film, which Shah Rukh is reportedly quite impressed with. She is currently working on the screenplay alongside co-writers.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh has made it clear that he is not in favour of making a sequel just for the sake of it. He has stated that he will only commit to "Main Hoon Na 2" if the story is even stronger than the first instalment. He is set to review the script's first draft by mid-2025, after which he will make a final decision.
Apart from "Main Hoon Na", Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan have also collaborated on "Om Shanti Om" and "Happy New Year". "Main Hoon Na 2" would mark their fourth film together.
According to Pinkvilla, Shah Rukh Khan is currently working on "King", directed by Siddharth Anand, which is slated for release in 2026.
