For the first time in television history, the film "840" will debut as a drama series. Alongside its theatrical run, audiences will be able to watch the film as an eight-episode-extended series on television — marking a first for simultaneous screening.

It will be broadcast on Channel i, Deepto TV, and RTV starting from January 3 and continuing until January 10.

Under the direction of celebrated cultural adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, this film-turned-series will air across different time slots and channels, offering viewers one episode per day.

A few years ago, Mostofa Sarowar Farooki shook the industry with his satirical drama series "420", a bold exploration of the socio-political anomalies plaguing Bangladesh. Now, he returned with "840", also known as Democracy Pvt Ltd., which amplifies the essence of its predecessor with double the depth and wit.
