Film Syndicate announces 12 new projects

The production house behind some of the most successful OTT projects in the country—like "Kaiser", "Karagar", "Unoloukik" and "Taqdeer”—Film Syndicate has announced seven new web series and five feature films yesterday.

The announcement was made during a grand event held at Gulshan Club. Various artistes and filmmakers were present at the glamorous event. 

Syed Ahmed Shawki announced the seven upcoming web-projects, starting with "Unoloukik 2", directed by Robiul Islam Robi; "Pendulum", directed by Tanim Noor; "Gulmohar", directed by Syed Ahmed Shawki; "Delta 2051", directed by Krishnendu Chattopadhdhay; "Doito", directed by Ayman Asib Shadhin and Susmoy Sarker; "Odanab", directed by Vickey Zahed and "Friends Without Benefit", directed by Riad Arfin. 

Apart from these, the five upcoming feature films are "Lohani", directed by Tanim Noor; "By-pass", directed by Syed Ahmed Shawki; "Khowari" and "Pulsirat", directed by Saleh Sobhan Auneem, and "Hell Broke Loose", directed by Rajib Rafi. 

The founder and CEO of Film Syndicate, Mir Mukarram Hossain highlighted the goals and future plans of the production house at the programme. 

"We are moving towards creating a sustainable ecosystem in production. We want to create a culture of partnerships by bringing brands, advertising agencies, production companies, distributors, exhibitors, broadcasters, and streaming platforms under one roof," he shared. 

The main people behind Film Syndicate

Film Syndicate was formed in 2020 by filmmakers Tanim Noor, Krishnendu Chattopadhyay, Saleh Sobhan Auneem, Syed Ahmed Shawki, Rumel Chowdhury, and Rehman Sobhan Sonet.
