After spending nearly 10 years working on "Stranger Things", Finn Wolfhard has mixed emotions about the show—and his character—reaching the end of the road. The actor, who first stepped into the role of Mike Wheeler in November 2015, opened up to People about the flood of feelings he experienced while filming the series finale.

"I was so happy with his ending, and I don't know, I was satisfied, but I was also very confused and sad, but also very happy," he expressed. "Filming the finale was definitely a lot. I felt like I was in a dream or something. None of it felt real. I don't know, it felt perfect."

Now 22, Wolfhard was only 13 when he began the journey. He grew up on screen season after season alongside fellow cast members Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Sadie Sink.

Having dedicated almost half his life to the show, Wolfhard shared that the idea of "Stranger Things" concluding felt surreal at first. "I just couldn't believe it at all. It didn't really start to go into focus until the next day. It was like an emotional hangover. But it ended really well, and I just have such positive things to say about everyone," he added.

Meanwhile, series creators and executive producers Ross and Matt Duffer offered a sneak peek into what fans can expect from the fifth and final season during a Netflix event in early January. "We spent an entire year filming this season. By the end, we'd captured over 650 hours of footage. So, needless to say, this is our biggest and most ambitious season yet. It's like eight blockbuster movies," they revealed.
