For more than 20 years, celebrated TV host and writer Hanif Sanket has been showcasing our folk culture, history, and heritage through his popular magazine show "Ityadi". Every Eid, he has also featured a special segment with foreign nationals.

The special segment of "Ityadi" this year features participants from various countries, including Japan, Italy, the Netherlands, Australia, France, China, Sweden, Romania, Denmark, Indonesia, Paraguay, the United States, and many others.

These individuals work at various embassies and foreign organisations in Bangladesh. They will hence participate in a short drama centred around the theme of rumours. Additionally, there will be a song and dance performance by the foreign participants.

Hanif Sanket spoke about this year's arrangement with foreign nationals and stated, "Even though they are amateurs, many professional artistes have much to learn from them. I am especially amazed by their punctuality, dedication, concentration, endurance, and sincerity." 

"The deep bond that forms within just a few days of acquaintance is unforgettable. I hope this episode will bring great enjoyment to the audience like every year."

TV actresses unite for Eid special ‘Ityadi’

As is customary, the special "Ityadi" episode — written, directed, and hosted by Hanif Sanket, with production handled by Fagun Audio Vision — will be broadcast on BTV the day after Eid at 8pm, following the Bangla news.
