‘A’ grade film ‘Voyal ’ to hit local theatres this month
Bangladesh's first "A" grade film, "Voyal " is set to hit theatres on November 29. Directed by Biplob Hayder, the film received the approval from Bangladesh Certification Board.
At a press conference held on November 12, the film's teaser was officially unveiled, with key members of the cast and crew, including Cinecraft Creations Chairman Shah Alam, the film's director Biplob Hayder and producer Ashikur Rahman, in attendance.
Director Biplob Hayder, reflecting on the making of the film, said, "We've poured a lot of care into making 'Voyal .' Viewers will be captivated by the story from start to finish. I hope they'll enjoy it. I encourage everyone to come to the theatre and watch it. Let's support Bangladeshi cinema."
Actors Irfan Sajjad, Aisha Khan, and Golam Farida Chanda, among others, were also present at the event.
Speaking about the film, Irfan Sajjad shared, "It's a unique story. Although it has received an 'A' grade certification, the message of the film is very distinct. Audiences will experience something fresh. Slowly, Bangladeshi cinema is carving out its own space, and I believe 'Voyal ' will leave a strong impact."
Actress Aisha Khan expressed her excitement, saying, "In 'Voyal ,' I play the role of a rural girl. The film is set against the backdrop of the hill tracts, and the entire crew worked really hard. Love, passion, and pain are all beautifully portrayed on screen, and I hope viewers will appreciate it."
Golam Farida Chanda added, "Along with the romantic and thrilling storyline, 'Voyal' highlights the love between parents and their children. I invite families to come and enjoy the film together. There's much to learn from it, along with the entertainment. I'm confident the audience won't be disappointed."
