Mejbaur Rahman Sumon's fantasy film "Hawa" was released on July 29, and since then, it not only set the country's cinema halls alight, but did great business in North America, Australia and other countries around the world.

Even today, the film is going houseful in multiplexes, on weekends. According to close sources, the film has sold BDT 14 crores worth of tickets in multiplexes alone.

Among these multiplexes are Star Cineplex, Jamuna Blockbuster Cinemas, Lion Cinemas and Chattogram's Silver Screen. Employees at these four places have confirmed this news to The Daily Star, in exchange of anonymity.
