'Hawa’ mesmerises the audience
Mejbaur Rahman Sumon's directorial debut "Hawa" has hit the theatres in 24 halls across the country today. Star Cineplex, in Bashundhara City, was filled with people, eagerly waiting to watch the film, since 10 am.
The first show of the film at Bashundhara City's Star Cineplex began at 11 am. After 1 pm, the stars of the film, Chanchal Chowdhury, Nazifa Tushi and Sumon Anwar, along with other cast members, were spotted in the theatre.
After the first show ended, audiences expressed their thoughts on the movie to The Daily Star. Limon, an audience member who resides in Green Road, praised the cinematography of the production. "Apart from the story, Chanchal Chowdhury, Nazifa Tushi, and the artistes have done a brilliant job," said Limon. "I congratulate the director for being able to tell such a brilliant story. I also appreciated the song 'Shada Shada Kala Kala' a lot."
Limon also thinks that if the song was not included in the film, then the audience would have felt that something crucial was missing from the project.
Another viewer, Jubayer Hasan, from Asad Gate, was left amazed. He spoke to The Daily Star after coming out of the hall. "I cannot believe this is a Bangla film, I am simply amazed by the quality of the movie," he shared, adding, "Nazifa Tushi, Chanchal Chowdhury, Sariful Razz, and Sumon Anwar were mind-blowing in their roles."
The tickets for the film 'Hawa' were sold in advance, in multiplexes across the country. Starting today, there are 26 shows of the film running every day in 5 branches of STAR Cineplex.
The screenplay for the film has been written by Jaheen Faruque Amin, Sukorno Shahed Dhiman and Mejbaur Rahman Sumon. Presented by Sun Music and Motion Pictures Limited, the film has been released under the banner of Facecard Productions.
