Horror film 'M3GAN's sequel set for 2025
The widely popular horror film, "M3GAN" is all set to return to the big screen in 2025 with its sequel, "M3GAN 2.0," directed by Gerard Johnstone.
On Wednesday, James Wan and Jason Blum officially announced the sequel to "M3GAN," the horror blockbuster that was released on January 6. The script, titled "M3GAN 2.0", is written by Akela Cooper, who also wrote the original. Further details are still unknown.
Since its release, "M3GAN," which stands for Model 3 Generative Android, has grossed $91 million worldwide.
The story revolves around a robotics engineer, played by Allison Williams, who gives a lifelike robot doll to her niece in order to console her on the death of her parents. Things take a terrible turn when the doll turns bloodthirsty and nearly invincible.
