‘I have no reason to doubt anyone,’ says Salman on recent death threats
In the wake of the recent death threats made to Salman and Salim Khan, a police statement was collected from the actor and his father. A report posted by Times Now, India's number one English news channel, shared details about Salman Khan's statement to the police.
According to Times Now, the actor was questioned about any possible connection to gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, who are reportedly being probed in this case.
"I know Lawrence Bishnoi just like everyone else, but I don't know about Goldy Brar," Salman reportedly told the police.
Salman was also queried about any possible suspects, who might want to harm him. To this, the actor replied, "I have no reason to doubt anyone."
Besides the note threatening to kill him and his father, in the same manner as Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, Salman was reportedly asked if he received any other threats over the phone, notes or messages. While the star allegedly did not give a direct reply to the question, he mentioned that neither he nor anyone in his family had received any death threats recently.
At the present, the police are reportedly not completely ruling out the possibility of the death threat being a prank.
As far as Lawrence's involvement in the case is concerned, ANI reported in a tweet that the gangster has denied all claims.
As per the latest reports, a Mumbai Police team is likely to leave for New Delhi to question Bishnoi. This is primarily due to Bishnoi previously vowing to kill Salman after the actor was accused in the blackbuck poaching case of 1998 in Rajasthan.
