I watched 'Priyotoma' in US: Puja Chery
Puja Chery has returned from her trip to the United States, and will start filming for her upcoming movie "Lipstick", reportedly in August.
The actor recently spoke with local media about how she spends her days in the United States, and whether she watched any Bangladeshi films while there.
The actress revealed that she didn't have time to travel to the United States after receiving her visa, so she opted for a short trip with her mother there.
"I was overjoyed when 'Priyotoma' was released in the United States, within a few days after arriving there. It felt great to see a Bangladeshi film in an American theater," the actor added.
When asked if she had a chance to see "Shurongo," the star said that she had plans to watch it in theaters.
"When I was in America, the picture wasn't released at that time. However, when I wanted to watch 'Shurongo,' all of the seats were sold out, and I was unable to see it. It made me very happy that the tickets for the film were unavailable after four weeks of its release. It's an exciting time for the Bangladeshi film industry," stated the actress.
Puja Chery's upcoming projects include "Nakphul" and "Lipstick". Ador Azad co-stars with her in both the movies. She also awaits the release of her film "Masud Rana", for which she has undergone special gymnastics training.
