One of the country's prominent OTT platforms, iScreen, has several surprises in store for the upcoming Eid. Among these is the streaming of the acclaimed and award-winning film "Aam Kathaler Chhuti", which was released last year.

The film "Aam Kathaler Chhuti" portrays a tumultuous childhood and has been well-received since its release in cinemas. Directed by Mohammad Nuruzzaman, the movie has garnered significant appreciation from cinephiles.

In celebration of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, "Aam Kathaler Chhuti" will be released as premium content on iScreen starting June 15 at 3pm.

"Aam Kathaler Chhuti" won the Best Film, Best Director, and Best Actor awards in the critics' category at the recent Meril Prothom Alo Award. 

Its story centers on an eight-year-old geeky city boy who visits a village during his summer vacation. There, he discovers a new world, finds friendship, and experiences a taste of adventure.

Based on Sharif Uddin Sabuj's short story "Moinna Bhai Bolla Rashi" and adapted into a screenplay by the director, the film features performances by Jubair, Lyon, Arif, Halima Tanjil, and Fatema in various roles.
