Starring Shajal Noor and Sanjida Preeti, Jaaz Multimedia has recently released "Jachchho Kothay", a song from Hridi Huq's upcoming movie "1971 Shei Shob Din". The song encapsulates the essence of a bygone era with earthy colour tone and 70s cultural landscape.

Penned by the director herself, the song is sung by Kamruzzaman Ronnie and Ishrat Annie, and composed by Debojyoty Mishra. The song is a fresh take on reviving the vibrant and groovy vibes that defined the 70s.

Prominent actress and playwright Hridi Haq is all set to make her directorial debut with the much-anticipated government-granted film, "1971 Shei Shob Din", which depicts the gripping narrative of Bangladesh's Liberation War. The film will be released in theatres across the country on August 18.

Apart from directing, Hridi Haq herself features in the film, alongside a talented ensemble cast comprising Mamunur Rashid, Jayanta Chattopadhyay, Munmun Ahmed, Shilpi Sharkar Apu, Ferdous, Tareen, Litu Anam, Saju Khadem, Sanjida Preeti, and many more. Notably, Litu Anam makes a remarkable comeback to cinema with this film, after a hiatus of 15 years.
