Jaya Ahsan watches 'Adim', praises film heavily
National award-winning actor Jaya Ahsan wanted to watch Juboraj Shamim's "Adim" since its release in Bangladesh, but unfortunately, she couldn't make time to watch it at Star Cineplex.
And thus, when the makers decided to screen the film at Buet Film Society's "Choltorongo" festival, the actress decided to watch the movie there. The five-day film festival will conclude today.
Jaya Ahsan told the media that she loved the movie.
"The movie was really good. After such a long time, I saw such a wonderful movie. It has an original plot, and I was mesmerised by its content," said the actress.
The "Beauty Circus" actor was also blown away by the performances of the non-actors, who gave their best.
"The director did an outstanding job in extracting believable performances from non-actors. They didn't seem to be acting at all. They did an excellent job portraying their characters on the silver screen," added the actress.
Jaya Ahsan also reflected upon the humour the filmmakers used in his movies.
"This movie also had humour, and people in the hall were laughing their hearts out during the funny scenes. The director has precisely caught every minor feeling. Such perfection is seldom even seen in Hindi films. After witnessing the film, I was left wondering if we would ever be able to act like this in real life. I don't think I'll ever be able to act like the people who have acted in those movies," the actress concluded.
