Jaya took to her Facebook page to share the overwhelming response, posting a photo of long queues outside theaters, showcasing the film's houseful status. 

She expressed her gratitude, stating, "My film has been running houseful for six consecutive Sundays. I am overwhelmed by the love of the audience."

 

On June 2, "Ardhangini" was released across various theatres in India. The film is going houseful in most of the halls in Kolkata. On the 10th day of the film's release, June 11, 57 shows were reported to be almost house-full across Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune and earned a whopping BDT 2 crore. 

Directed by Kaushik Ganguly, the film stars Churni Ganguly and Kaushik Sen in pivotal roles. 

"Ardhangini" shows the stark reality of human relationships. The plot explores the complexities surrounding two women who occupied the same position in a man's life at different times. Churni Ganguly portrays Kaushik Sen's first wife, whom he had divorced before marrying Jaya Ahsan's character.
