Kangana turns air force officer in ‘Tejas’
Renowned actor and now, director Kangana Ranaut surprised fans today, announcing the release date of her upcoming film, "Tejas". Directed by Sarvesh Mewara, the film also stars Varun Mitra, Anshul Chauhan, and Veenah Naair among others.
Taking to her social accounts, Kangana shared glimpses of her new avatar in "Tejas". She captioned the post, "Honouring the bravery of our heroic Air Force Pilots! 'Tejas', releasing in cinemas on 20th October."
Kangana will be seen playing the role of an air force officer in "Tejas". The film's shoot had initially begun in 2020. However, it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking her mind about "Tejas", Kangana previously told the media in 2020, "I've always wanted to play a soldier and have been fascinated with the Armed Forces since childhood. I've never held back my emotions for our jawans and spoken openly about how strongly I feel about their heroism. They keep our country secure and our people safe. So, I'm very happy to be doing this film. Being in uniform will be one of the biggest highlights of my life."
Kangana Ranaut was last seen in Razneesh Ghai's "Dhaakadd". After "Tejas", she will also be appearing in her directorial film "Emergency", which is slated to be released on November 24.
