The day after Eid, Channel i will air its landmark show "Krishoker Eid Anondo" at 4:30 pm. The programme has been planned, directed and presented by Shykh Siraj.

The popular show has been produced for many years now, to celebrate the farmers in a joyful occasion. Every year, the show contains a specific theme. This year's episode has been shot near the banks of river Langan at Tekanagar village in Nasirnagar, Brahmanbaria.

According to a press note, this time the show is much more eventful with the spontaneous participation of farmers living in the rural area, where they will partake in fun sports.

Besides, there is the weaving of all the variety of stories from the locality and abroad as well. Shykh Siraj, eminent development journalist, Director and Head of news of Channel i, shared in the press release, "The reason for choosing Brahmanbaria is because agriculture is the main source of economy to the people of Brahmanbaria."

Since ancient times, this region has been a storehouse of rice, jute, mustard as well as local fish. Thus, this year's show will particularly focus on Haor, an exceptional region of agricultural tradition.
