'Mean Girls' reunion: Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert spotted filming secret project
"Mean Girls" stars Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert are shooting for a secret project which will witness them reprising their iconic roles as Cady Heron, Karen Smith, and Gretchen Wieners in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, they are reportedly shooting for a Pepsi commercial. However, fans were left heartbroken when they couldn't spot their favourite Regina George (Rachel McAdams) in the shoot. I guess she must have forgotten to wear something pink for the ad.
Lindsay, 37, was pictured in an all-black ensemble with a purse that read "Plastics Club Member, Est 2004," along with the movie's famous phrase "On Wednesdays we wear pink."
Lacey, 41, wore a bright pink dress and heels, while Amanda, 37, wore a gray jacket, pink shirt, black slacks, and matching boots.
Lacey and Amanda shot some sequences in a convertible and on a football pitch. Amanda was also seen catching a football in one of the photographs from the shoot.
The 2004 comedy will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year, and its popularity continues to grow, fuelled by a Broadway musical adaption and a soon-to-be-released film based on the said musical, starring Reneé Rapp as Regina from "Sex Lives of College Girls".
Tina Fey and Tim Meadows, who played Ms Norbury and Principal Duvall in the original film, will reprise their roles in the next musical film.
