Mehazabien receives acclaim for ‘Ananya’

Director Mostafa Kamal Raz's latest fiction "Ananya" has been released on Cinemawala's YouTube channel. The Mehazabien Chowdhury starrer project has been receiving acclaim since its premiere.

Currently trending at number 3 with 2.9 million views, the actress expressed her elation for the appreciation received on social media from the audience.

The plot, centred around the sacrifice of a mother, evokes emotions and relatability amongst the audience. Netizens have positively commented on the heartwarming storyline, praising Mehazabien and the director.

One of the audience, Minara Khatun, shared her thoughts, relating the depicted pain in "Ananya" to her own experiences. Becoming emotional and resonating with her professional life and family, she expressed, "I still carry the pain depicted in 'Ananya'. Everyone around me is busy with their self-interest, oblivious to anything beyond money. Being helpless, I have securely entrusted my child to daycare now."

"'Ananya' is a beautiful drama that continues to hold a significant place in my heart," she added.

According to Mehazbien,  "Ananya" is a simple and straightforward story, presented in an easily understandable manner. She emphasises the significance of acknowledging and addressing the challenges faced by working mothers. 

Through this work, she has targeted the provision of opportunities and facilities for working women, dispelling misconceptions surrounding them. Her goal is for everyone to relate to the narrative from their respective perspectives. "I believe we could successfully convey the essence, reaching at least a portion of the audience."

Mustafa Kamal Raz expressed, "I feel more comfortable working with family stories. I strive to portray the narratives around me in a way that resonates with my own experiences. Perhaps, people can relate to my work by seeing aspects of their own lives in these stories, whether it's mine, my brother's, or my family's."
