Mithila signs Arun Chowdhury’s ‘Jole Jole Tara’

Rafiath Rashid Mithila has been signed to play the lead in the upcoming film "Jole Jole Tara", a government funded project to be directed by Arun Chowdhury. She will share the screen with F S Nayeem in this production. 

The film will also feature Fazlur Rahman Babu, Azad Abul Kalam Pavel, Munira Akhtar, Mostafizur Noor Imran, Iqbal, Shokh, and Obid Rehan, among others.

"Jole Jole Tara is inspired by Syed Waliullah short story 'Keraya' and I am playing the protagonist Tara in the film," shares Mithila. "I always look out for women-centric stories and feel very privileged to be a part of this production."

With story by Iffat Arifin Tonni, Raihan Khan is the cinematographer of the production. The film will also have songs sung by Kumar Bishwajit and Imran.

The team has completed shooting for the first lot and will begin shooting for the second lot from tomorrow
