Mithun Chakraborty in talks for Bangladeshi film
After a long break, celebrated Indian actor, Mithun Chakraborty might soon be signing up for a Bangladeshi film titled, "Hero". The film's director, Kamruzzaman Roman, and the screenplay writer, Abdullah Zahir Babu visited the actor in Kolkata, yesterday.
Soon after, the screenplay writer also shared the news on social media. He wrote, "Today is a special day for me, as a writer. The renowned Indian actor, Mithun Chakraborty has read my script and exclaimed, 'Brilliant, sign me up for this film'."
Speaking to the media, the screenwriter of the film mentioned that they had sent him the screenplay three months back. It was only yesterday that they got the chance to sit with the star and discuss the film in detail.
According to the director of "Hero", the film revolves around the character of a father—who is likely to be portrayed by Mithun Charkraborty. Though the actor is yet to officially sign onto the film, he has promised to do so, after adjusting his schedule.
Kamruzzaman Roman added that hopefully, they will be officially signing Mithun Chakraborty for "Hero" before Eid.
