Actor Mushfiq R Farhan has fallen ill and been admitted to a hospital in Uttara, Dhaka. He is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Mushfiq R Farhan's uncle, Mostafizur Rahman Mamun, told The Daily Star: "He suddenly developed a fever and body aches while on the set of a drama shoot. He was taken to the hospital yesterday, Friday. For safety reasons, he is now in the ICU. We are hopeful that everything will be fine."

Farhan was scheduled to shoot for a drama today, Saturday, but the shoot has reportedly been cancelled.
