Photos from his set have surfaced, showcasing Nolan, along with Tom Holland and other actors dressed as warriors, aboard a large wooden ship at sea near Methoni, Greece.

Nolan's adaptation of "The Odyssey", produced by Universal Pictures, features an all-star ensemble cast including Matt Damon, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, and Benny Safdie. 

With a release date set for July 17, 2026, expectations are high, particularly with Nolan's reputation for using practical effects and real-world locations. The director's decision to film on location, instead of taking the CGI-heavy route, has only heightened anticipation for what may be one of the most visually stunning films of the century.
