The "Big Bang Theory" franchise is all set for yet another spin-off series. Following in the footsteps of "Young Sheldon", Chuck Lorre—the show's creator—announced that he is in the early stages of developing another series that is set around the franchise. Apparently, the show will be made for HBO Max.

This news came during a presentation at Warner Bros Discovery's press day. It was also revealed that the new project would eventually stream on Max—the company's upcoming streaming platform, which will see HBO Max and Discovery+ being merged together.

Currently, the plot and cast for the new spin-off is being kept under wraps. However, Variety has reported that the new series will have a fresh cast, but there will also be a potential for previous "Big Bang Theory" stars to appear in the news series as well.
