To bring "Noya Manush" closer to the masses, the filmmakers have launched an alternative screening initiative. The journey officially began on December 25 at Dhaka University's TSC auditorium, followed by screenings at various universities and cultural centres across the country.

As part of the initiative, the film will be screened at Jahangirnagar University's Zahir Raihan Auditorium on January 31 and February 1. Organised by Swachintan, the screenings will be held at 4:30pm and 6:30pm on both days.

Regarding the screening, director Sohel Rana Boyati shared, "A significant portion of the population in our country has turned away from cinema halls for various reasons. Families have abandoned their long-standing habit of watching films together. However, "Noya Manush" is a film that can be enjoyed by the entire family, especially with children. Watching films at cineplexes is expensive and beyond the affordability of many. That's why we aim to reach the masses through these alternative screenings."

The film's screenwriter, A M M Hasanuzzaman, added, "Through the story of "Noya Manush", we have tried to highlight the emotional bonds and sense of humanitarian responsibility among people. If this message reaches the audience, they will become more aware of their emotional and humanitarian duties. Therefore, everyone should watch this film."

The cast of the film includes Rawnak Hasan, Moushumi Hamid, A M M Hasanuzzaman, Ashish Khandakar, Jhuna Chowdhury, Nilufar Wahid, Badruddoza, Smaran Saha, Shikha Karmakar, Mahin Rahman, Meharan Sanjana, Parvin Paru, Mary, and child artiste Ushoshi, among others.

It is worth mentioning that "Noya Manush" is Sohel Rana Boyati's debut film, which portrays the lives of hardworking people living in the char areas and the unpredictability of nature. The film was released in theatres on December 6. The screenplay, written by Masum Reza, is based on Hasanuzzaman's story "Bedonar Baluchare".
