The highly controversial Kangana Ranaut has finally returned to Twitter, accompanied by her usual brand of explosive tweets. On Friday, the actress went after Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan", after another user called her film, "Dhaakad", a box-office flop.

Originally, Kangana had praised "Pathaan", stating its success was a showcase of 'India's love and inclusiveness'. One of her followers commented on the post saying, "Kangana Ji's film 'Dhaakad' earned Rs 55 lakh on the first day and had a lifetime collection of Rs 2.58 crores. "Pathaan" has earned more than Rs 100 crores on its first day. This is nothing but frustration."

The "Emergency" actress decided to respond to the user by calling out SRK on his recent success.

"Yes, 'Dhakaad' was a historic flop, when did I deny this? This is SRK's first successful film in ten years. We take inspiration from him. I hope we will also get the same chance India gave him. India is great, it is generous," replied the actress.

Kangana had earlier tweeted, "All those claiming 'Pathaan' is a triumph of love over hate, I agree. But whose love over whose hate? To be more specific, who is purchasing tickets and ensuring the event's success? It is India's love and inclusiveness, where eighty percent of the population is Hindu, and yet there is a film called 'Pathaan', which shows our enemy nation Pakistan and ISIS in a good light."

"I do believe Indian Muslims are patriotic and very different from Afghan Pathaans. The crux is India will never be Afghanistan, we all know what is happening in Afghanistan, it's beyond hell there. So, it is apt for the movie to be named 'Pathaan'," wrote Kangana.

Meanwhile, a number of celebrities including Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, and Hrithik Roshan have praised the film on social media.
