Peace is better than happiness in old age: Mahiya Mahi

In recent times, Dhallywood diva Mahiya Mahi was making headlines for showcasing an interest in politics. The actress obtained nomination papers, for the post of Member of Parliament (MP), in the Chapai Nawabganj-2 constituency. However, she would eventually lose the post to her competitor, Ziaur Rahman.

Recently, the actress posted a cryptic status on Facebook, which led many to wonder why the actress seemed to be running away from fame.

"I want to be yours till eternity, I want to die beside you. Human being has a tendency of chasing after fame. All of us need stability. In old age, peace is better than happiness," read the post.
