People forced to watch Hollywood films as ‘Jinn’ tickets unavailable: Shajal

The Puja Chery and Shajal Noor starrer, "Jinn", has been doing great in multiplexes. The film has created a lot of buzz with its BDT 1 lakh challenge, which intrigued many a fan into going and watching the film to find out whether it's actually scary or not. 

In an interview with a local media outlet, Shajal stated that many people are complaining that they cannot get a hold of tickets for "Jinn".

"As people are unable to find tickets for 'Jinn', they are being forced to watch 'Evil Dead'. This really means a lot. I have been watching 'Evil Dead' from an early age. It's such a popular film. Viewers have posted about this on their Instagram stories. Tickets for the next two days of 'Jinn' screenings are already sold out. This is my biggest achievement," said the actor. 

Recently, Jaaz Multimedia filed a General Diary (GD) at the Hatirjheel police station, complaining about the piracy of their horror film, "Jinn".

"Jinn" is said to be based on real events. Focused on paranormal and supernatural activities, the horror film has been directed by Nader Chowdhury. The film also stars Ziaul Roshan in a pivotal role.
