Pooja Hegde joins Shahid Kapoor in action thriller

Indian actress Pooja Hedge is set to share the silver screen with Shahid Kapoor in an eagerly anticipated action thriller. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, the filmmaker behind Malayalam blockbusters like "Salute" and "Kayamkulam Kochunni," the film is poised to deliver a riveting narrative centered around a dedicated police officer's relentless pursuit of justice, which leads to the unravelling of a complex tapestry of deception and betrayal.

Although the film is currently without an official title, it promises a compelling and distinctive storyline that is sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Pooja Hegde, excited about the project, acknowledges Andrrews' knack for weaving cinematic magic and eagerly anticipates her first-time collaboration with Shahid Kapoor. 

The movie, backed by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films, is set to commence production soon and is scheduled for a theatrical release in 2024.
